Our Story
Real Afro Unity (RAU) was born from a deep desire to uplift Afro-descendant communities through connection, education, and empowerment. We saw the challenges—systemic barriers, lack of access, and fragmented support—and knew we had to act.
What started as a vision among passionate changemakers has grown into a 503b nonprofit focused on building stronger, more resilient communities. We empower individuals through financial literacy, talent development, mentorship, and pathways to upward mobility. At our core, we believe in the power of unity—real unity—to create lasting impact.
